Investments: How It Works
Wedbush
Morgan often invests in private companies - both early
stage venture capital investments and later stage investments,
including leveraged buyouts. WMS+Co typically co-invests
with other investors in such deals. The firm generally
allocates a portion of each private deal to WMS+Co brokerage
account holders. WMS+Co receives 20% of the profits
on the syndicated portion of each deal and a 2% management
fee. SEC regulations mandate that we offer these opportunities
to Accredited Investors only. If you meet additional
requirements as a Qualified Purchaser, we will have
greater flexibility in offering you a larger allocation
of each deal. WMS+Co and affiliates have invested over
$100 million since inception.
